Box 64 – 186592 – gas in LG at z=0 (hi-res)

Rotation around the gas density distribution of the Local Group (Box 64 – 186592, 4096^3 resimulation) at z=0: M31 (center), Milky Way (upper right) and M33 (lower right). Compared to the 2048^3 resimulation, one can see a lot of more detailed structures.
